Blogtober14 Day 30: Facts About You

1) I have three children. I never thought that I would have children and now I can’t imagine a life without them.
2) I am half-Korean. My father met my mother in Korea when he was stationed there. Neither spoke the other’s language at the time.
3) I have been writing since I was about 7 or 8 years old.
4) My best friend and I have been friends for over 20 years. I don’t think I could get rid of her at this point even if I were to try.
5) My father passed away 20 years ago and he is always present in my thoughts.
6) I use sarcasm daily. It’s like a vitamin for my life.
7) I was raised by my father’s parents after he passed away. They are more than 50 years older than myself.
8) I created a scrapbook for my daughter before she was born and intend to give it to her on her 18th birthday. It is full of letters, photos, thoughts, and memories.
9) I want to help others as best I can. Sometimes helping others can lead me to taking on more than I should.
10) I want to create something that I can be proud of even if no one else likes it.
11) There are times when I could sleep for what seems like forever.
12) My mind never stops running. I replay memories, I run through my work, I think constantly about everything.
13) I am slowly learning to let go of things that I know will never change.
14) I am my biggest critic and my harshest audience.
15) I want my children to have a life that all children deserve. I want them to be surrounded by love, acceptance, and understanding. I want them to never have to question their safety.
16) Blogging has been a revelation to me. It has opened me back up to writing and given me a chance to share my thoughts (However meaningless) with others.
