I am beyond honored to be included in the Suicide Prevention Resource Center’s Lived Experience Advisory Committee. This is the first national committee of its kind.
I can remember poring over the site and resources for years, trying to inform my work and efforts better. To say this is an honor, is truly an understatement. I am astounded that I have been chosen to be a part of this absolutely remarkable group of individuals. I am filled, overflowing with an immense amount of hope. I hope for what this means to current and future efforts. Hope for those who are survivors. Hope for those struggling and lost in the depths of suicide.
This team is diverse, truly diverse. I have never witnessed another group of its kind. I cannot wait to share the work we are already diving into.
I am humbled, honored, and ready to make a difference. Thank you to all who have and continue to believe in me. I hope I can make you all proud.
