Threads of Experience

🧵 I’ve been thinking a lot about those powerful, rare moments when someone truly sees who you are.

These happenings remind us that lived experience isn’t just something we carry, it’s a deeply immutable part of who we are and how we crave connection.

These shared threads🧵of experience validate who we are and 🪡stitch🪡 us into the fabric of one another. We are threaded together by our experiences and also by our ability to sense when someone else just knows, You.

Lived experience is recognizable and because we can find it, it’s often something we look for in one another. “Are you my person?” “Will you accept all of me?”

Have you experienced a profound moment like this?

What did it feel like?

How did you both just “know”?
