McChord Air Force Base

As my time in Washington sets, I’m truly grateful to everyone who made this trip possible. I’m not able to share many details but I can say, I have made connections, heard stories, and shed a bit of light on a dark topic. The comments and feedback I’ve received has been amazing.

At least one person will be seeking care after this week. At least one person has been checked on this week. Many more are now better equipped to help if someone is struggling with suicide.

My favorite comment from my keynote speech was, “you have such a light about you. It is needed, please keep sharing it with the world.”

I am truly thankful to be doing this work.
