I provided an in-service for the Senior Companion Volunteers in Hot Springs, Arkadelphia, and Malvern last week. I shared my lived experience story with the group and provided them with the troubling statistics about suicide in Arkansas. I also shared ways to help someone express suicidal thoughts or gestures.
